Volatility sneaking back into the market as crypto's ups and downs are laid bare

THE price of Bitcoin is down by almost 3% overnight, currently trading for roughly $62,260. Ethereum is down a by 4%, while Solana has given up some of its weekly gains, drifting into the red by 4.7%. 

The Fear and Greed Index - an indicator of market sentiment - continues to sit firmly in “Neutral”, after spending much of last month in “Extreme Greed”. 

Analysts point to macroeconomic headwinds for the creep of negative sentiment into crypto and other markets.

Values of 70 or above indicate that an asset is becoming overbought and may be primed for a trend reversal or experience a correction in price, while 30 or below indicates an oversold or undervalued condition.
