Crypto markets are mostly flat this morning, with Bitcoin marginally in the red and Ethereum and others in the green between 0% and 1%. Solana (SOL) has given up some gains overnight after a blistering 30-day run, on the back of an upgrade aimed at improving network speed. Maker (MKR) is one of the few seeing a notable move, climbing more than 3%.
In traditional markets, US stocks are back in the green, buoyed by a surge in Alphabet’s share price after a judge ruled in favour of the company in an antitrust case, allowing it to keep its Google browser.
Despite the sluggishness in crypto, sentiment trackers show slight improvement, with the Fear and Greed Index moving from Fear back into Neutral. The big question now is whether US non-farm payrolls data due tomorrow will shift the tone.
The global crypto market cap is approximately $3.81 trillion, down 0.16% over the past 24 hours.
