Bitcoin still climbing as crypto markets remain buoyant

THE price of Bitcoin peaked yesterday at $68.8k, before dropping back down to around $66.7k, where it’s trading this morning.

The market leader posted all-time highs against the Pound and Euro, while coming within reach of the USD all-time high of $69,000, as recorded by Bitstamp in 2021.

Ethereum at $3,690 is up another 4% in the last 24 hours, with cryptos such as Polkadot (+6%), Uniswap (3.75%), Maker (2.17%) and Aave (2.67%) following in the green. 

CRV, the native cryptocurrency of Curve DAO, has surged 14% overnight, trading for around $0.7 at the time of writing. 

Spot ETFs continue to churn out significant trading volumes, the latest from the institutions being that BlackRock is reportedly looking at including spot BTC ETFs in one of its funds.
